Very nice Genuine Limbert rocking chair as pictured. For local pickup only, NO shipping. Properly marked on the underside of the arm, 17" to the top of the seat cushion. Both rocker rails have been reglued and pegged as original. No repairs to the wood were needed other than replacing a couple glue blocks on the underside. This was partially stripped of the finish when I got it. The remaining varnish was carefully removed while retaining the original brown color, 5 coats of varnish applied with the final coat receiving a hand rubbed/ polished waxed finish. Has a nice mellow/satin sheen to it. The Cushion frame is newly constructed out of 100+ year old Poplar in the same manner as was done 100 years ago. New zig-zag springs, burlap, foam, batting, faux black leather covering.
