LOCAL PICKUP ONLY ? FOR RESTORATION/REPAIR/SCRAP/COLLECTION ONLY The typewriter is a vintage Standard Number 5. Unsure of the year or where it was made. Also don't know the serial and model number. There are similar listings (better conditions of course) that will show pictures of what it looked like in prime condition. It was stored in the garage for over 20 years. It accumulated dirt, dust and cobwebs. There is a lot of rust and decay. I did the best to clean it up but there are some hard-to-reach areas with dirt/cobwebs. And a lot of rust still remained. This listing is only for those who like to repair and restore vintage/antique items. If you?re that person, this challenge is for you! You might ask, ?What does work? A few keys still respond when pressed down. The line retainer still rolls. And so does the knobs on the side and the wheel inside. The carriage release lever still works, meaning you're still able to move it from side to side. Everything else is rusted and inactive. Does NOT come with anything else but the typewriter and old ribbon rolls.
