This literary dark novel featuring a woman with a tragic past and a vividly creative dreamworld is Zumas's first book, and was a finalist for the Oregon Book Award.
Fine, crisp, very tight and probably unread in black linen with metallic-blue embossed octopus to the front cover and with metallic-blue embossed titles to the spine, yellow headband and tail-band, blue end-papers, deckle page fore-edges; together with a fine staple-bound booklet in stiff-card white and black wraps with burgundy titles and Indiespensable Volume 33 to its the front cover. (Issued without dust jacket and slipcase.)
