D&E Juliana Peacock Blue, Emerald & Peridot and 37 similar items

Fabulous vintage D E Juliana Leaf Brooch of wonderful iridescent Peacock green, blue and peridot Aurora Borealis (AB) Rhinestones on a gold tone base. The stem of the leaf is made up of 3 round peridot rhinestones, while the body of the leaf consists of 3 layered rows of sparkling peridot, emerald and blue marquise AB rhinestones, 19 stones in total. Interspersed along the center “vein” of the leaf are 5 round peridot rhinestones. All the stones were hand prong-set and those on the perimeter of the brooch are all open-backed while the rest are closed. The layering of the rhinestones gives the brooch a wonderful domed shape. On the back of the brooch the open and closed backs of the rhinestones are visible, as are the soldering marks and the c-clasp pin. The brooch, weighing 21g, is 2 5/8” long and 1 3/8” at it’s widest point. It is in exceptional vintage condition, in fact, it looks like it has never been worn and could pass for new!!!
