Costoluto Genovese Tomato (30 Seeds) is an old heirloom dating back to the early 19th century. Very uniquely shaped, once matured this tomato will be deep red, 3-5 ounce, flattened and deeply ribbed or lobed. The high acidity content gives this indeterminate its deep rich flavor it's best known for being the staple ingredient in sauces used for homemade lasagna or spaghetti. Excellent for preserving, sauces and juicing. Very popular amongst chefs. Heat tolerant
