Very small tan stain to the outer lower page edges tucked-in near the spine, else about near fine in textured bright white over textured bright orange boards with black embossed titles to the front cover and to the spine; in a nearly fine dust jacket with a touch of fading to the spine panel, with front panel art by Jon McIntosh; original printed $6.95 price still intact to the front inner flap.
Private Investigator Jack LeVine debuts in this Hollywood mystery, 40's era shamus pastiche by the remarkable Mr. Bergman, who first made an impression with his dissertation film history, WE'RE IN THE MONEY, co-authored BLAZING SADDLES, wrote THE IN-LAWS, and is now a writer/director of such films as HONEYMOON IN VEGAS.
