Item description
Great WW1 piece here!
Injured soldiers letter from the hospital bed to his love.
Includes a two page letter written on October 19th of 1918. The soldier was injured in war and was temporarily blind before writing this letter. He was still in the hospital in France. The letter is written to his "dearest sweetheart". I found the included picture in the same box and it is dated 1919 Germany which was the year after WW1 ended. I am assuming the picture is of the soldier who wrote the letter.
From Archie Flusser. To Miss Flora M Wood.
Some yellowing as it is old. No rips or tears. The writing is cursive but is all still readable. It was written on AMERICAN RED CROSS letterhead.
It will be protected well and insured.
Location E3
