This is a beautiful vintage cloisonne pocket watch - I believe it is a souvenir from China. It depicts Shou Lao (Shou Xing), the Chinese Taoist God of Longevity. He holds the peach of immortality, which is a also Taoist symbol for Longevity. He is accompanied by a deer, which represents long life prosperity as well. This beautiful watch is gold tone. Manual wind up. The watch fob has 2 golden hearts. The watch opens to reveal an arabic numeral clock face, with second hand. The intricate inner workings are also visible. The back of the watch also has a "window" to reveal the workings. About 1 7/8" in diameter. Comes in a lovely silk brocade presentation box with velvet lining, and carved bone toggle closure.
