Item description
Pink Silver Wheat Sabin Mt Clemons Dessert Plates Silver Trim Lot of Two
Here are two beautiful Pink and Silver Wheat Patterned Dessert Plates. They were more than likely made by Mt Clemons pottery and hand painted by the Sabin company.
Sabin company purchased white ware blanks and put on their own patterns. They were bought out in 1967 by David Chase of the St Clement Pottery company -- The company that made the blanks.
These are great with no chips or breakage. There is crazing on them but this doesn't take away from the beauty of them. Under some light this is hard to see but it is there and common on lots of vintage pottery.
They have a large scalloped edge with platinum edging.
The middle has pink wheat with silver or gray leaves.
They measure about 6 inches across
