Grey vinyl fabric which is like a faux leather is sewn into the cuff shape and has an insert of soft (firm but squishy) foam that keeps the shape of the grey cuff. The glove is knit and stretchy. I cut off the excess wrist length because it was very snug on my wrist and I didn't like it, so I figure you wouldn't. it is a burgundy or crimson color glove. the Normal size is about 1.5" wide (outer strip width), 1.5" to the inner wrist hole and an overall diameter of 5", there are 10 stars that go around the outer strip The double size is 3" wide (outer strip), 3" to the inner wrist hole and an overall diameter of 8" and there are 16 rows of stars around the strip so 32 total each cuff The double size cuff comes with the diamond knuckle studs and the regular comes with the dome round studs. Both are set into the glove like a paper fastener backing and the prongs are rolled and squished so that it is comfortable on your knuckle. I have considered every part of the glove so that it is very comfortable and you will wear it all day at the con and not be bothered All you do is shove your hand through the hole and the cuff conforms to your wrist Then put on the glove and slide the cuff to cover the end of the glove. These will fit an average adult hand/wrist The stars do not come off
