Titleist Titanium 975D 9.5* Driver
The Titleist Titanium 975D is a pear-shape, deep face driver. The unique hosel and thru-bore shaft design and reinforced face-crown junction stiffens the head to provide increased ball speed and a sweet, solid feel and The internal weight and wall thickness are carefully managed to provide a flatter more penetrating ball flight.
Review: "I found this club at a local pro shop. I went to the range and I hit every shot long and straight. I couldn't believe it. After several years of unpredictability with my Big Bertha II I just figured I couldn't drive the ball. "I can't drive," I'd say. Boy was I ever wrong!!!! This little puppy, the Titleist 975D proves it! All I have to do is take a regular swing and boom! It's not as spectacular as when I hit a good drive with the mini-van driver and it makes a loud impressive ping sound and it looks cool, but the loooong boring straight ball flight I get with the Titleist 975D more than makes up for the fact that it is not showy, it's not flashy, it's just a driver doing what a driver should do. I have two, one is a banged up 45.5" with a 9.5' degree loft and stock graphite Titleist shaft and horrid grip, and one is a decent looking 45" 8.5' degree EI-70 Ultra Lightweight graphite shaft and nice leather wrap grip. And I'm really tempted to go ahead and buy another one just so I don't ever have to be without one again. I'm the type of guy that I don't see the need to change something if it's working. I liked this so much that after several years of hitting my Wilson 3 and 5 woods (I used to hit a Wilson Driver but I broke it hitting it off the grass deck at the range) I went and bought a Titleist 975F 3 and 5 wood (14.5' and 18.5' degree) with the same shaft (the EI-70), and after several years of hitting my TaylorMade 360 Irons I'm making the shift to Titleist 704-CB Irons with the Nippon NS Pro 970 steel stiff flex shafts), and after several years of playing oddball thrift-store sand and lob-wedges I'm finally making the jump and I bought two Titleist Oil Can wedges, a 52' and 58', and a Titleist Dead Center SP-203 Putter, and a brand new Titleist bag. Surely it doesn't have anything to do with Jordan Spieth winning the Open Championship. I love it! "

Titleist Pro Trajectory 975F Fairway Wood RH 14.5* Regular Flex
DESCRIPTION
The 975F is the ultimate combination of size and weighting in a fairway metal, producing a sweet, solid feel and sound. The lower center of gravity and increased face roll provide the proper launch angle and easy-up playability. The internal weighting is forward biased to reduce spin and produce a flatter downrange trajectory, the hallmark of all Titleist 975F fairway metals. The leading edge is beveled and radiused and the sole is crowned along the center for playability from all types of lies.
Review: "One day a co-worker and I were poking around in a golf shop near our office and I happened upon this 975F 16.5 degree fairway wood with a stock ultralite graphite shaft. The club was in really good shape so I asked if I could try it out, after a few swings I knew right away that this would be a welcome addition in my bag, what was also cool was they regripped the club for me free with a Lamkin dual density grip (which is great by the way). I was so excited about this club that after work I headed to the range near my home with no tees and no glove but I had my shoes in the trunk. I grabbed a small bucket of balls and after hitting a few sweet shots. I started really hitting some winners! I was surprised how easy this club is to hit! I have a Taylormade 300 Tour series 19 degree fairway wood that I have been hitting for years but I think I may retire it in favor of this club for awhile. After reading many of the reviews on this site I can see why this club is considered a classic! I was fortunate enough to run across it and had been thinking of getting a new 904F but after swinging this one I think I'll be just fine! I may follow up with a review later after I have played it a few rounds but after my range experience the other day I can say that this is one sweet club! That's the best money I ever spent! If you can find one out there consider it. The new technology gets a little ridiculous sometimes...check out the Nike Sumo II. Whose idea was that? I've always been more of a traditionalist maybe that's why all my clubs are Titleist. They have hardly wavered in their design and stylings and border more on the classic and traditional. Impeccable taste and classic, that's what I see at address with this club and the sound it makes is pure Titleist! A bona fide classic! I'm glad I have one in the bag."
