Anthony dollar coin with one more distinct from the quarter dollar. The new dollar coin design, golden in color, was selected by Treasury Secretary Robert E. Rubin based on the recommendation of the Dollar Coin Design Advisory Committee. The dollar coin's obverse was designed by Glenna Goodacre. It depicts Sacagawea, a young Shoshone woman. The original reverse was done by Thomas D.
