A large, sparkly Lapis Lazuli teardrop briolette is the centerpiece of this simple and elegant necklace. These Lapis are superb, with great shine, about 11-12mm long and average about 4.5 carats each - see the last photo for size comparison to a pencil eraser. They are a gorgeous saturated blue, with a nice amount of glittering pyrite inclusions. Lapis is commonly used as a substitute birthstone, Sapphire being the official September birthstone.
