Chebon was the featured artist at the CIAC's 5th Annual Native American Arts and Crafts Show and Educational Exposition, and is also a member of the Indian Arts and Crafts Association. His original work is available from his own Colorado gallery, and reproductions (limited edition prints) are sold internationally. Chebon was Oklahoma All-State quarterback, recruited by legendary Bud Wilkinson at University of Oklahoma, with expectations of being the best QB to ever play at OU. I was at that All-State game as an assistant coach in August, 1965, when Chebon was tackled at the knee and was deprived of his potential career. Later he became a professional rodeo rider, and then became a gifted and successful artist which he is today at his home and studio in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
