BATTISTA Wonderfully historical photo postcard featuring photographs of the beautiful architecture of Italy, with a road map in the center marking a route of travel. The postcard is a standard souvenir from Italy, with the printing in Italian. and what appears to be a "stamped" or printed QSO form with the handwritten information filled in the blanks. Signed to Martin from "Battista" 13 KNB OP. BATTISTA Handwritten date of March 18, 1982 with the DX date stamp of March 8, 1983, so it took a year to send! Printed on the back (address side) of the postcard by the publisher of the postacard; Dalla Carta Automobilistica al 1:800.000 del T.C.I. Riproduzione autorizzata dal Touring Club Italiano. On the top of the center line is printed: CARTITAL FACCHINELLI di PAOLO PEGE PADOVA PLEASE NOTE: The Blue border is the blue paper backing we used when scanning to better define the edges of the white card, and is not a part of the card. CONDITION: In excellent condition. Photo side of postcard is clean and has not smudges or smears, corners show very minor signs of wear. Back, (Address side) is clean not smudged, or smeared, a nice addition to any collection.
