Plot Summary: The movie begins with Conan using Kogoro to solve another murder case. When Conan goes to Dr. Agasa's house later, he finds a letter addressed to Kudo inviting him to a garden party hosted by Teiji Moriya, a famous architect for left-right symmetry. Calling Ran over the phone (as Kudo) he asks her to go. She replies that he must see a movie with her on May 3rd. After agreeing Ran asks Shin'ichi which he likes better Red or Blue. He picks Red, then Ran hangs up. Conan wonders the significance of May 3rd. (Since there's nothing important on that day.) Later, there was a robbery of major chemicals, and later, threats of plastic bombs on the train lines of Japan. It's up now to Conan to solve the case, and save the city from being blown up by bombs.
