He picks Red, then Ran hangs up. Conan wonders the significance of May 3rd. (Since there's nothing important on that day.) Later, there was a robbery of major chemicals, and later, threats of plastic bombs on the train lines of Japan. It's up now to Conan to solve the case, and save the city from being blown up by bombs.
