Item description
Brand new factory sealed dvd is going Out Of Print (OOP) and is no longer being manufactured.
Chicago defense attorney Martin Vail (Gere) is torn between the fight for justice and the lure of fame. He seems to have found the spotlight when gentle altar boy (newcomer Edward Norton is a standout) is accused of savagely murdering an archbishop. This leads to some courtroom fireworks due, in part, to the fact that the prosecutor (Laura Linney) is Vail's former lover. With a twist ending that might make one feel cheated rather than surprised.
Feature directorial debut for Gregory Hoblit, Emmy winner for TVs 'Hill Street Blues', 'L.A. Law', and 'NYPD Blue'. Linney Gere also played off each other well in the 'Mothman Prophecies'.
