Item description
Vintage original 4.75 x 7.5 in. British herald from the 1930's British/German WWI-themed war drama, TWO WOLRDS, released in 1930 in the UK by Wardour Films and directed by E.A. DuPont (AKA Ewald Andrรฉ Dupont), in which an old Jew is forced to hide the Austrian lieutenant who killed his son and loves his daughter.
The front cover depicts the film's three leads (Norah Baring, John Longden, and Randle Ayrton) and features photographic scenes and credits on the interior. It is in very fine condition.
The film is set during the First World War and the action takes place on the Eastern Front between Austria and the Russian Empire. It was made at Elstree Studios by British International Pictures and was made as an MLV (multiple-language version), with a separate German-language version, Zwei Welten, and a French version, Les deux mondes. The film's art direction was by Alfred Junge.
