Pages age-toned, as expected, hint of splaying to the boards, thus very nearly fine; in crimson boards with gilt spine stamping; in a fine, if age-toned, pictorial dust jacket. Splendid jacket art--quite different than the U.S. issue--is by Bill Botten.
40's era shamus pastiche by the remarkable Mr. Bergman, who first made an impression with his dissertation film history, WE'RE IN THE MONEY, co-authored BLAZING SADDLES, wrote THE IN-LAWS, and is now a writer/director of such films as HONEYMOON IN VEGAS.
