Item description
50 Seeds Double Moss Rose Mix Portulaca Annual Flower Ground Cover
These annual succulent beauties are fast growing, easy, heat and drought tolerant and low maintenance. Forms an easy to grow carpet of brilliant color 3-4 inches tall, 14-16 inches across. Produces droves of 2-inch wide flowers throughout the summer and fall and make an outstanding ground cover or use them to brighten borders, patio pots or hanging baskets. The rose-like flowers have a wide range of colors: pink, yellow, white, red, purple and orange. No pinching required. They have fleshy stems and leaves. Grows well in poor, sandy or gravelly soils. Likes full sun or partial shade. Heat and drought tolerant, but flowers last longer with regular watering. Can be started indoors in winter to be transplanted outdoors in spring or can be sown directly into the ground or containers in spring or summer.
