Item description
Cimarron Thunder by E. E. Halleran (1981, Mass Market Western Paperback)
The backdrop for this E. E. Halleran novel is the Civil War. Union Captain Tom Baird is sent undercover to try to find out who is behind a scheme to capture Colorado for the Confederacy. While incognito Baird is "captured" by a Union patrol and has a hard time trying to convince them of who he is. To complicate things even further a very beautiful brunette shows up, and he only finds out later that she is a Union agent as well.
Paperback cover shows light wear, but book has been wet at edges. Dried w/o damage, but damp-stained. Interior is tight, otherwise clean, with no internal markings. Above average reading copy, but no better.
Copyright 1970. Stated 3rd printing, July, 1981, of First Edition (August, 1970). Manufactured in U.S.A. ISBN-10: 0-345-29492-0. No LCCN. Ballantine Western catalog : 29492. MSR = $1.75.
