Item description
World War I Glass Photo - Bombed School
An original glass photo from a French collection of World War I photos. Shows a shelled, bombed out school (ecole) building. Unusual glass positive in sepia tone - likely for projection in a magic lantern. There is a written label (L'Arsenal) and two small round green labels on the lower border. Nice and sharp - looks better than shown in my handheld digital photos. 4.75" x 3.5".
Please see the other historic glass photos I have listed in my store, Maxitivity.
