The Life And Times Of Pat O'Brien
by Pat O'Brien
Garden City, New York: Doubleday Company, Inc., 1964.

Warmly inscribed, dated 1964, and SIGNED to the front end-paper by the veteran Irish actor, Pat O'Brien.
Enhanced with fifty-one photographs on striking black-and-white plates.
A lively and candid autobiography of the son of Irish immigrants who became a Theater success on Broadway, then in did tours on the front-lines during the war, then to Hollywood for bit parts, then starring in numerous films.
O'Brien is best known for his many films paired with James Cagney, gangster films with George Raft, Irish character roles, his magnificently portrayed role as Knute Rockne, as Father Duffy in THE FIGHTING 69th, and his comedic role in SOME LIKE IT HOT.
Well-preserved and presentable.
Minor rubbing to the lower spine edges, else near fine in black over green linen with gilt embossed titles to a green panel to the spine; in a price-clipped very good plus dust jacket with nicks and tiny tears to the upper and lower spine edges, and light rubbing to the spine panel.
