The sixth mystery featuring African-American private investigator Easy Rawlins working in the Watts section of Los Angeles in the 1960s.
The Edgar Award winning author is most famous for his first Easy Rawlins featured mystery, DEVIL IN A BLUE DRESS that was adapted for a film starring Denzel Washington.
