The novel filled with period detail, intrigue, violence and romance, features a Spanish hacienda owner whose wife is American, their coming of age children, a young Zapotec man who loves the culture of Native Mexican Indian heritage, a Texas ranch owner, and more.
Mild rectangular tanned offsetting to front inner hinge area, else nearly fine and tight in russet-brown over auburn-yellow linen with gilt embossed titles to the spine, burgundy-and-yellow headband and tail-band; in a nearly fine dust jacket with with a touch of minor crimping to the lower edge of the front panel; original printed $5.95 price still intact to the front inner flap.
