This is a hard cover edition of the rare science fiction classic MATILDA'S STEPCHILDREN by A Bertram Chandler. The book says First Published in Great Britain 1979. Published by Robert Hale Limited, Clerkenwell House, Clerkenwell Green, London, EC1R 0HT 8 inches x 5 inches, 208 pages. The book and dust cover are in excellent condition and it has never been read. I met him at SYNCON a science fiction convention in Sydney Australia in 10-13 June 1983, and a group of us sat in the hotel lobby with him talking for a long time. I took his picture and he signed it as well as the copy of this book. Sadly, on 6 June 1984, he died of a heart attack and a copy of his obituary is included. I have researched this book and it is hard to find in Hard Cover, but at Find Book Prices.com, its says "No copies of this book were found in stock from 833 online book stores and marketplaces", even a picture of it is hard to find but, I did find two copies at bookstores in Australia and one did have a picture.
