It is not a shortage of postage. It is fees that the UK charges for imports and most likely a handling fee that the royal mail charges UK citizens for them dealing with the customs process in the UK. It is similar to US citizens ordering from other countries and having to pay import fees. We are not responsible for import fees charged by other countries. These charges have nothing to do with the postage we are required to pay to have your package delivered. If it was short on the postage, the package would not have left the USA and would have been returned to us by the USPS with a notice attached to the package stating short on postage. The postage is calculated by the US Postal Service and that is the postage price we paid. Additionally, the cost of postage is not shown on the label or package so the royal mail would not know how much we paid for the postage. As noted above it is import fees charged by the UK. We ship to the UK and other countries all the time and import fees are charged by the UK and most other countries.

We also have the following notice for customers outside the USA: Customers with shipping addresses outside of the US are responsible for all duties and import taxes that may be charged by your country for imports. These are not included in the cost of shipping or handling of your order.
