Item description

Vintage travel and sales case for cosmetics. Attic find from home under renovation, seems to have been a good attic to leave things in as it is Very Good condition with no damage, only light wear. Top about 10 1/8" across. I thought it was a hat box and would be dandy for guitar chords and probably would but apparently of some collector's interest as well as notoriety although I doubt the sales force had any part of that. Koscot apparently was an Avon competitor with a bit of Amway thrown in and somewhere along the line fell foul of the law. I turned the light way up for the photos, it is a basic semi-gloss grained imitation finish with carry strap and clasp. Might make a great Goth purse for a festival and carry all you need, or ladies could use it to hide things from their husbands as they aren't going to go poking around in an old make-up case, really has all sorts of potential. Three pounds boxed to ship.
