Item description

This is a -US MARINE CORPS TOYS FOR TOTS TOKEN 2009 2017 Sometimes called a challenge coin, these tokens were given to Marines that volunteered to participate in the annual collecting of toys for children for Christmas under the slogan "Every Child Deserves A Little Christmas" and was started in 1947. It is 24.50 mm in diameter (a little larger than a US quarter) and weighs 5 grams (about 1/4 ounce) and looks to be made of bronze. Some have a Teddy Bear in a Marine uniform instead of a train on the reverse. Most do not have a date other than 1947, but this is also dated 2009 and I have seen one listed with 2010 and another with 2011 so dated ones appear to be rare. It is in circulated condition (see pictures). Buyer agrees to add $4.50 for First Class shipping in the US, outside the US pays cost I ACCEPT PAYPAL. See my other items. Items can be combined to save on shipping. I return all feedback received Powered by SixBit's eCommerce Solution
