Item description

Own a piece of history. Trinitite was created during a Nuclear test blast. It’s a result of the intense heat melting the sand into a lightly green tinted glass. Named for the Tinitity Bomb testing in New Mexico on July 16, 1945, samples of Trinitite are extremely rare; All but a small sample of the material was buried and made illegal to remove from the site in 1952. Our Trinitite samples were collected legally before the restriction. Samples range in size and average 1/4" wide. Glass vial holds 10ml. Includes Certificate of Authenticity. Material is non-radioactive.
