Supergrass is one of the most important bands to emerge during the 1990?s Britpop Scene. Formed in Oxford UK in 1993 they have a uniquely energetic sound. Their debut album I Should Coco contained the song Alright, which was generally accepted to be a pop masterpiece and became a massive hit. This, their 6th and final studio album is a punchy and energetic return to their roots. Produced by Nick Launay (PiL, Kate Bush, Gang Of Four, Midnight Oil, Nick Cave, Arcade Fire), the album was carefully crafted as the group apparently spent six months just writing the lyrics. Supergrass was hand-picked as main support for the Arctic Monkeys at their Old Traffort shows. Songs like Rough Knuckles, Bad Blood, and Rebel In You only add to their impressive canon of classic songs. The track Bad Blood is featured in the video game Need For Speed Undercover. All eleven songs are great. You won?t be disappointed.
