Item description

Vintage original 11 x 14 in. US lobby card from the 1930s action/war comedy, SKY DEVILS, released in 1932 by United Artists and directed by A. Edward Sutherland. Wilkie and Mitchell, trying to desert their draft into the army, stow away on a ship which takes them into the war zone. While AWOL, the rivals for Mary's affections accidentally destroy an ammunition dump. This lobby card was printed for the film's 1938 US theatrical re-release by Astor Pictures Corp. The image depicts Mary Way (Ann Dvorak) and WWI Army soldier Wilkie (Spencer Tracy) as he talks to The Colonel (Billy Bevan) as he brings a meal to their hotel room. It is unrestored in fine- condition as shown.
