Black genuine Hornback American Alligator belt and buckle made in the USA by Silver Town Boots out of El Paso, Texas. This is a size 40 inch as stamped on the belt and measures at 48 inches (see photo). The width is approximately 1 3/4 inches (photo). The buckle is also genuine Hornback American Alligator (matching the belt). There are two snaps on the belt which provides an easy way to change the buckle (if desired). Belt is straight and exhibits no noticeable signs of wear. Alligator leather that has been professional dyed black, as the previous owner preferred a black alligator belt. Examine the photos carefully as they provide any additional details regarding this belt and buckle. Note: it took one Alligator to make this belt, which was indeed an Hornback Alligator (review the "horns" on the belt. If you should purchase this belt wear it with the knowledge that you are carrying the legacy of this reptile. This is a vintage belt and therefore the Alligator was harvested in years past. new Hornback American Alligator belts made in the USA are not as wide, do not have an Alligator buckle and take the life of a currently living Alligator, plus they cost over $575.
