These would have been bought from an "Automatic Teller Machine", from the early 1920's, similar to the one pictured below (NOT INCLUDED). Machines were placed in various locations, purchased stamps were then placed in a folder of the sponsoring bank. And then they could open an account once a certain amount of stamps were saved. Only the 1c is listed in the "Bank and School Savings Stamps" Catalog by "James N.
