The bright light coming from the church window shows that the Midnight Mass is in progress. Hand painted ("handgemalt") under the glaze in muted shades of blue, yellow, green and gray. The central scene is banded with gold, and bears the inscription “WEIHNACHTEN 1959” (Christmas Night 1959). The highest quality porcelain, approximately 8.5 inch (21.5 cm) diameter.
