This is an old Warren No. 8 double-headed railroad pickaxe, a rare and rustic miner?s tool with lots of character and patina. The pickaxe head measures approximately 21" across and is clearly marked "Warren No. 8." The wooden Sears handle is approximately 36" long but note that the head does not stay securely attached at this time, so it would be easy to sell/ship the head alone, if the buyer prefers to cut down on shipping costs and provide their own handle. The piece shows signs of age, surface rust, and wear consistent with vintage industrial tools.
