Presentation copy with a SIGNED inscription (1941) to director and screenwriter Jean Negulesco with an additional note also SIGNED by the author laid in.
Niven Busch (1903-1991) was a successful novelist and screenwriter. He was married to actress Teresa Wright and wrote the screenplay for The Postman Always Rings Twice (1946). His first novel is a thriller set in Germany with a woman "lost in a maze of evil."
