The oiling process is simply done to take away the dryness that some of the natural horns have and to add a bit of shine. It often makes the horns a bit darker than natural ones. Small scars will still be visible. Polished ??????? The polishing process adds a superb shine to the horns and brings out beautiful colors. It certainly makes the horns more sophisticated and the colors more vivid. These horns will not show any bruises or indentations since the entire surface is smoothed out after the process of polishing.
