Tracks: The "I Had A Dream, Dear" Rock Coffee Time S'posin' You're My Thrill Spring Is Here The Pussy Foot You Do Something To Me Don't Cry Joe (Let Her Go, Let Her Go, Let Her Go) Buck Dance I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles Fake Out Baby Sweet Nothings About The Record: The "Go" Sound, by Kirby Four Stone, showcases the group's signature "Go Sound," a vibrant blend of swing jazz, vocalese, and early rock and roll that defined their unique vocal style. The album features 12 tracks, including upbeat covers of pop standards and originals, characterized by tight harmonies and a lively, feel-good energy that appealed to audiences of the late 1950s. Historically significant for capturing the quartet's peak popularity after their 1958 hit Baubles, Bangles and Beads, the album reflects the era's transition from big band to more contemporary pop sounds. The lead single, The "I Had a Dream, Dear" Rock, was a notable release, though it did not achieve the chart success of their earlier Grammy-nominated hit. Other standout tracks like Coffee Time and The Pussy Foot further highlight the group's playful, jazz-infused approach, making the album a key artifact of their discography.
