THE ALIBI by George Allan England Boston: Small, Maynard Company, Publishers: (1916). First edition, first printing. Color frontispiece by Modest Stein. Tiny frayed nick to front cover cloth, light shelfwear, a suggestion of darkening to spine, else a near fine copy in olive cloth lettered in white to spine and front cover, with handcuff device to front cover; lacking dust jacket. Crime novel by "one of the more important writers of science-fiction for the adventure pulp magazines" (Bleiler).
