Item description

I can't call it a favorite story as it is a sad story but this was purchased from Vaughn Bode' himself on the occasion of a fund raiser for the defense of underground artist Dan O'Neill of "Air Pirates" notoriety. It was at a New York comic show and having a dealer table of my own to watch I caught them late on Saturday right before closing. I bought some merchandise at that time and was going to buy some art the next day but unfortunately he didn't make it to the next day. This has been also in a regular comic bag with board backing so "double bagged" with respect to the comic itself. I don't do number grades but it would not be a 10.0. How this would happen is strange but there is just the start of corrosion showing on the staples, just a touch. The bottom right corner is ever so slightly feeling not perfectly flat, best way I can describe it, as if while on the sales table that corner got bumped just a little. These are incredibly minor imperfections but as otherwise someone might be expecting perfection itself I am mentioning them. I think if any of us could teleport back in time and walk up to the table and buy something we would be more than happy with it, and that is what you are basically getting here. Includes the poster of course. It was sealed in this bag when I bought it and has remained unopened ever since.
