Item description

a random choice of used stamps Canada ?46 Marco Polo Clipper Ship 1999 Scott#1779 46-cent postage stamp from Canada, issued in 1999, commemorating the ship Marco Polo. #1779 Helpful information: The stamp features a painting of the Marco Polo under sail. The Marco Polo was a three-masted clipper ship launched in 1851 in Saint John, New Brunswick. It was initially designed as a cargo ship but became famous for its speed on voyages between England and Australia. The stamp was designed by A. Lee Sackett and printed by Ashton-Potter. It was available as a single stamp, in a pane of 16, and as a souvenir sheet with two stamps. Items are shipped using Canada Post without tracking to keep costs low. This is the most economical option. Canada Post is incredibly reliable, but can be slow. Although not common, it can take up to 2 1/2 weeks for a maill to reach a U.S.destination and 4 to 5 weeks for an international address. If you require tracking or a faster delivery please message before ordering. If you are looking a multiple purchases, please message us. Although PHILATELISTs appreciate these Postage Stamps, Crafty people can utilize these unused, vintage postage stamps to enhance a journal, scrapbook, stationary, envelope, or other papercraft project.
