Item description

Canaanland Classics: 25 Great Southern Gospel Favorites Choral Edition Arranged by Mosie Lister (Easy 2 Excel Flexible) (1997 Staple-bound Softcover) Music Editor and Arranger: Thomas Mosie Lister (1921–2015) Cover Design: Michael Walsh Publisher: Lillenas Publishing Company Kansas City, MO U.S.A. 1997 Southern Gospel. 25 arrangements that have heart and excitement, yet are very practical, easy, and fun to sing for the volunteer choir. 4 voice choral songbook. Other editions e.g. Solo/Accompaniment, Orchestra, CD, etc., available from publisher. Thomas Mosie Lister (1921–2015) was an American singer and Baptist minister. As a singer, he was an original member in The Statesmen Quartet, the Sunny South Quartet, and the Melody Masters. In 1976 Lister was inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame and the Southern Gospel Music Association in 1997. His songs have been recorded by nearly every Southern Gospel artist. Soft-cover with staple binding is almost as new. Interior tight, clean and unmarked. Minor shelf-wear. Size: 4to - over 9 - 12" tall, 108pp Condition: Near Fine Booklet (Softcover with staple binding) - Always Privately Owned Copyright as a collection 1997. No Edition/printing info found. Lithographed in U.S.A. Lillenas catalog MB-775. No LCCN or MSR. ISBN: 083-419-6913. Notes on Condition/Edition ratings: Fine – means like new, but any book produced over 10 years ago isn't “brand new” or even “new.” Booksellers needed some word to describe this... Like New – A new book, no marks no damage (except maybe remainder marks or shelf-wear) except not obtained directly from the publisher or in packaging from the publisher. Very Good – How you or I might take care of a book, closer to “as new” than standard. Might show ownership. Good – How someone else might take care of a book. Also referred to as “standard.” This is the most likely condition for books of this age title, shows the book has been read or previously owned. Acceptable – How a child, student or a librarian might take care of a book. (Either trying to make sure someone doesn't steal it by plastering ownership everywhere, filled it with copious notes or a book that has been damaged.) Poor – Combination of “acceptable” factors above. Most likely with water damage as well. Might have missing pages (you should ask). Near – Means “almost” in an optimistic sense. e.g., “Near Fine” means very good, but on the high end. 1st Thus – Unique somehow, maybe 1st paperback, new illustrator, misprint or even the 1st edition. A collector might desire this copy. Thanks for looking!
