Grant Thiessen James Grant Books, 1st Publication, 1976-1981 Condition: overall Very Good+ The first two issues of a fanzine devoted to science fiction, fantasy horror paperbacks, plus 5 more issues, as well as 2 issues of the variant Megavore: The Journal of Popular Fiction.. They principally contain title author indexes of several paperback imprints from 1952 to 1968, focusing on the books of fantastic content. These predated the complete book listings in the paperback price guides by at least a decade. Each also has illustrated articles, book reviews and more. Each copy of the 8" x 10-1\2", 48-page issues has modest wear and toned pages. Though not given, print runs had to have been quite small, so these items are scarce.
