BOSSONS, has a lot of character, with it's vintage coloring and has an original signature by the artist "Gross" on the left hand side near to the drunkard sleeping man). " The Old English Inn" Plaque is a very detailed molded piece of chalk pottery art from the 1970's and was Made in England by the W.H.Bossons. This piece defines every detail and character of the persons showcased in this piece, it captures the expression and coloring of that time period. This is a must have and another rare find to add to a collection, and plaque has been priced for a quick sale. There is some slight nips chalk marking on the front around the surface of the plaque's and there is also some damage to this piece which has been repaired quite well but it is more noticable from the back of the plate. This does not affect the piece nor does it take away from the plaque, which is quite old, please review the pictures which are of the actual item. Measures 15 1/2" in diameter. There are many imitations of this type of chalk art on the market but this is no imitation as you can see from the pictures, this is a LIMITED EDITON and has all the markings of the original artwork and maker.
