A re-release of Cotton: Fantastic Night Dreams, the first game in the series and the original "cute 'em up" - scrolling shoot-em-up games featuring a cute female character instead of the usual spaceships (think Magical Chase, Trouble Witches, Parodius, Otomedius, etc.) The DX X68000 Edition comes in a black plastic "shock box" case, just like the X68000 computer games released in Japan in the 1990s. Only 299 copies of this exclusive special edition were ever produced. It includes the game on a physical disc for PS4, instruction manual also in the style of X68000 games, instruction flyer reminiscent of those for arcade games of the era, art book, soundtrack CD, sticker sheet, enamel pixel pin, decal sticker, mini shikishi art board, exclusive Cotton themed tea set, a replica of the Japanese telephone card that was frequently included in 1990s computer game packages, and a hand-signed Certificate of Authenticity. Brand new, never opened. Please note, the yunomi (Japanese tall teacup) was packaged separately and is not included here.
