The body is made of clear corrugated glass that has air bubbles embedded throughout to give it an appearance of being covered with beads of water. The broad, custom metal and cap base supports the molded bronze neck, which in turn supports the silver plated socket assembly above. Although it is designed to serve as a convenient hotel bedside light, this uniquely crafted lamp will look great in many other environments, too. Uses standard base screw-in bulbs of up to 100W. Light is controlled with a 3-way on/off push-button switch located on the front of the lamp base. The extra long 8' heavy duty cord is UL rated to ensure safe operation. Overall dimensions of the lamp from top of the frame to bottom of the base = 32", and the base measures approximately 11"W x 7"D. The bare lamp weighs approximately 15 pounds. This lamp includes a 10" harp, saddle, and finial, but does not come with a shade.
