Item description
Charming 1989 limited edition mohair teddy bear by Nisbet for Avon, made in Winscombe, England. This is bear #559 of a numbered series and features jointed limbs, red glass eyes, stitched claws, and a white sailor-style outfit with navy trim. Tag shows ?Nisbet Childhood Classics ? Avon.?
Measures approx. 12? tall and is in excellent vintage condition overall.
Note: there are a few small age-related speck marks on the apron (see photos).
A beautiful and collectible British-made bear with lots of character!
