Item description

Up for sale is an original 1974 exploitation B-movie one sheet poster for Super Ball (also released under the notorious alternate title The Great Hollywood Rape-Slaughter). Directed by Charles Edward and distributed by Global Film Distributors, this underground sexploitation film is described as a ?super sexy, campy film on Hollywood reality.? Like many grindhouse titles of the era, it blurred the line between satire and sleaze, gaining notoriety for its shocking marketing campaign more than its actual cinematic run. This poster is an authentic theatrical one sheet from its limited release period, not a reproduction. Measuring approximately 23? x 34?, it was issued folded, as was common for the time. Condition: Original folded one sheet from 1974 Approx. 23? x 34? Signs of wear from age and storage (see photos) Fold lines, some edge tears, chips, and corner wear Minor staining, small tape reinforcement on reverse Still intact, no major loss of artwork Displays well for its rarity Shipping Payment: Flat-packed with protection USPS Ground Advantage or Priority Mail available Combined shipping on multiple poster orders An ultra-rare survivor from the grindhouse and drive-in era, this poster is highly collectible for fans of exploitation cinema, sexploitation history, and obscure Hollywood underground films of the 1970s. Very few examples are known to exist today.
