Description Vintage Mexican Sterling Silver carved obsidian tribal mask with articulated masks that hang from the side. Stamped sterling silver pin from Mexico and from the style of work I would say in the Taxco Mexico style. The obsidian (volcanic glass) face mask is hand carved and when combined with the silver work it has a distinct tribal appearance. Please note on the backside upper right there is a very small dent , this is how I purchased this item at an estate sale 25 years ago. This does not take away from this great piece of craftsmanship.
